During my last year in College, I designed and built two small buildings, among other works. Here we have the plans and photographs of a bookshop I designed in 2004, located in the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
This building was added to an existing building, a house built in the early xxth, the façade of which we incorporated in the new building.

This small space consists of an L shaped two-story high bookshelf, intersected by a steel bridge designed so as not to stop the vertical stress of the design of the bookshelves, which are ment to embrace the clients.

We used a simple and neutral style for the new building, to contrast the existing academic house. Here´s the façades, with open and closed safety iron blinds that had to be added for security reasons:
